Celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month with the City of Keene’s Human Rights Committee and Keene State College!
Join us for a 35-minute preview of "CURED," an award-winning documentary about the extraordinary campaign to remove homosexuality from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and the LGBTQ activists who changed history by refusing to accept psychiatry’s mental-illness label. After the film, join small group and panel discussions with one of the co-directors for deeper insights into this vital history.
The event is made possible through the collaborative efforts of the City of Keene's Human Rights Committee and Keene State College, with the generous support of Keene Pride, Keene YMCA, Maps Counseling Services, Monadnock Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Coalition, Monadnock Family Services, and New Hampshire Psychological Association.
